Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

1      Purpose

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by TRUSTB Limited during the financial year ending 30th November 2025 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

TRUSTB has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to acting ethically, transparently, and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Although we are not legally required to publish a statement under the Act (as organisations with turnover below £36 million are not mandated to do so), we do so voluntarily as part of our commitment to responsible business practices.

2      Our Business

TRUSTB is a UK-based business consultancy providing advisory services to clients across strategy, operations, transformation and risk management. We:

  • Operate solely within the United Kingdom
  • Employ 9 permanent staff
  • Do not use agency workers
  • Do not outsource services overseas

All employees work under formal contracts of employment and are paid in accordance with UK employment law.

3      Our Supply Chains

Our supply chain is straightforward and limited in scope. It primarily consists of:

  • UK-based professional advisers (accountants, legal advisers)
  • IT and software providers
  • Occasional specialist subcontract consultants (UK-based)

We do not engage suppliers in high-risk sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, construction, or overseas labour markets.

Given the nature of our consultancy services and our UK-only supply chain, we assess the risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains as low. Nevertheless, we remain vigilant.

4      Our Policies and Controls

We are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking within our business. Our controls include:

  • Right-to-work checks conducted for all employees
  • Written employment contracts for all staff
  • Compliance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements
  • A commitment to fair treatment, equal opportunities, and non-discrimination
  • A Whistleblowing Policy encouraging employees to report concerns confidentially
  • Policies and procedures detailing expectations around employee behaviour, workplace ethics and legal compliance

We will not knowingly engage with suppliers or clients involved in unethical labour practices.

5      Due Diligence

Due to the size and nature of our business, our due diligence processes are proportionate and include:

  • Working primarily with reputable, UK-based organisations
  • Informal assessment of supplier credibility and reputation
  • Addressing any concerns raised regarding unethical conduct
  • Reserving the right to terminate supplier relationships if modern slavery risks are identified

6      Training and Awareness

Given our size, training is proportionate to risk. Directors and senior staff understand the indicators of modern slavery and are responsible for maintaining awareness within the business.

Employees are encouraged to raise concerns if they suspect unethical practices.

7      Further Information

We are committed to continuous improvement and will:

  • Review this statement annually
  • Reassess supply chain risk if our business model changes
  • Implement additional formal procedures should our risk profile increase
